32in24-5 was the first “layout then detail” session used 32in24 in the series. This idea was experimental at the time; it involved separate layout and detail teams. The quality of work in this pack is pretty astounding, especially given the fact that it’s a 32in24 map set. I came late to the party and was only able to detail one map. The map in question had to be basically remade from scratch because the layout I was given was pretty sub-par. But in the end I was happy with what my partner and I turned out.

All of our hard work paid off. 32in24-5 was nominated and won the Multiplayer Wad of the Year Award in the 14th Annual Cacowards.
